A bit about me....
I’m Emma, Your Fantastic Hairdresser Coach.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself — well the first thing you need to know is that I'm a hairdresser, and have been running my own business in this wonderful industry of ours for the last 20 years. I started up with £1800 in the bank , a pair of scissors and big dreams and now I have a high street salon with a team of 15. I have gained so much knowledge, from running my own salon & keeping a team of 12 motivated and achieving their own goals, & like so many of us in this industry I have had my fair share of struggles & have made many mistakes. However, I have learnt some expensive lessons. That is why I decided to take on the role as a Salon Business Coach. I’m very passionate about helping others grow their salon/ business & most importantly reach their profit goal.
I have worked in this amazing industry since I was 13 years old, sweeping the floors on a busy Saturday I can honestly say I feel the same way now as I did from my first day. In 1999 my dream came true to open my salon, at the age of 19 I can honestly say I didn’t really have a business plan or really understand business, however after 20 years being in the driving seat and going through continual development I am proud to say that I now run a successful salon and it's my journey with Fantastic Hairdresser that has really helped me achieve my goals, that is why I now want to coach people and to help people achieve their potential and goals.

It's OK - There are options in the questions to indicate you don't have the relevant information. This is the strength of this process though - if we are asking for information you don't have, that's a learning for you straight away!
Remember this process is not about judgement, it's about identifying the imbalances and gaps in your business so that you know where to put your focus in the future.

Alan Austin-Smith has a way of explaining 'business' in a way that makes sense - it's so simple.
He was a hairdresser himself and I think that's what makes it all so understandable.
However, this process is not about judgement - it's about learning, growing and taking the cation to create a successful profitable business.
Of course you are - and you should be! That's why this first step has been designed so that you don't have to share any intimate information about your business.
The questionaire is in two parts - the first is identifying what you do or don't do - where are the gaps.
So for example you might be asked if you run regular team meetings - the questionaire is multiple choice so depending on which answer you choose helps me to help you!
The second part is brilliant as it focuses on your leadership personality - you will find it fascinating - I promise!
